Appearance
Appearance of a typical requiem shark with a broadly rounded snout. Small eyes. The origin of the first dorsal fin is over the rear ends of the pectoral fin bases. Second dorsal fin relatively high, about 3/5 of the first dorsal fin. No interdorsal ridge.
Coloration
Grey-brown with light ventral surface light and no markings.
Distribution
Western Pacific: Borneo, New Guinea, Australia (Queensland).
Biology
The biology of this spieces is nearly unknown. It may live in freshwater too.
Diet
Not yet examined.
Size
Unknown, but at least 100 cm.
Reproduction
Unknown, but probably viviparous.
Similar Species
Looks similar to Ganges shark and taxonomic features have to be used to clearly distinguish.
